Well,  'Desi' and 'Paradesi' are two popular South Asian words with profound significance and 'homely' meanings. They are used here in an all encompassing worldly situations affecting people described above and are very pertinent to the current world demography. These terms are two frequently used Sanskrit words whose variations are found in all vernacular Indian languages. 'Des' in North Indian and 'Desam' in South Indian languages simply mean 'the homeland'. Hindi is by far the largest used Indian language, and others are compelled to learn it for national interests, unity, cohesion, mobility, employment opportunities, and advancement.

In local languages, a polite way of inquiring about a newly met person's identity is putting forth the simple question “Where is your desam?”, in a conversational saying “Where are you from?'. It shows respect and a person's strong traditional sense of belonging to one's own land or “place of birth” (so much so, lately, it has become an inevitable 'security question' for website sign ups!). In most Asian and African countries, it tells a lot more about a person: such as mother tongue, cultural habits, sensitivities, proclivities, food, attitudes, culture, customs, the traditional dress they wear and so many other subtle and 'not- so- subtle' facts and features. It keeps the introductory conversation curt, concise, quick, civilized, and efficient! It befits a decent way to strike up new acquaintances.

Desi has assumed a much broader meaning and significance in the preeminent age of the Internet & social media. It now comprises all things 'South Asian' and many other Asian countries, perhaps excluding Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and the Philippines. Broadly, the term encompasses anything and everything, including, grocery commodities, items, people, race, cuisine, art forms, and all that have an origin and a connection to the traditions of the subcontinent. Besides, several African, Middle Eastern, Caribbean, and other Island populations with similar deep cultural roots & traditions find good rapport and understanding with the desi phrase and community. It signifies the awareness of the newly understood common identities, perspectives, and commonalities in traditions, family hierarchy /structure, food, fashion, speaking accent, arts & culture; strong religious influence on earthly life and the afterlife, and so much more. They are the largest English-speaking and multi-lingual community in the world and are destined to influence thoughts & discourses in world affairs, and all kinds. Although political and religious spats, strife, rivalries, and conflicts do exist and often seethe and simmer, the Desi populations find camaraderie, trust, and alliance when they meet others in foreign countries. Those who were feigned foes, slowly become friends- in-need. Often times, it may fall by the wayside or be entirely forgotten with one's own individual 'upward mobility', prosperity, fame, or in the event of repatriation back to the homeland. It could just be an 'arrangement of convenience' or genuine goodwill towards one another. Quite often, they recognize each other by their 'looks' and show a friendly face, or even a subtle simper-like 'smile of Mona Lisa'  in a manner of  enigmatic, mute, friendly gesture of  'greeting without words'. Perhaps, the issues, struggles, and hostile encounters a  person experiences in foreign countries concerning discrimination in many facets of daily life and employment are just the same as those felt by others of a similar kind! Also, in any culture, it is considered rude to be 'indifferent' to others. Any friendly gesture goes a long way towards mutual recognition, respect, and a sophisticated behavior!

Suddenly, the North Indians and the Pakistanis discover that there are so many things in a binding bond that are close to their heart, life, customs, traditions, and culture that unite them than the ones which separate them. Food, films, music, cricket & hockey, and 'masala mix' are just a few of them. They are all conducive to friendship! They have perhaps more things in common among themselves than the North & South Indians. Often, one is pleasantly surprised and becomes very sentimental when finding out that the fellow he/ she is now meeting hails from the same places / 'Des' which were the birthplaces of their own grandparents. The Bangladeshis, find out that they have a strong language & cultural bond with the Bengalis and people from Myanmar; their climate and staple food are similar to those of Malayalees and Sri Lankans, and so on. It did all come to light because of the interactions and conversations that help to dispel perceived stereotypes, fear, myths, and mistrust. They are now able to form their own opinion on first- hand basis without any coercion, political/ media propaganda, and portrayals. Soon, people discover the 'humanity' in each other, notwithstanding other divisions. That's powerful and what matters the most. It is amazingly true, clearly visible, deeply palatable, and agreeable to the mind and social sensibilities from the meeting of minds just described.

All humans have identical genes (though the combinations differ), anatomy, aspirations, needs, wants, and plans, as well as similar struggles in life. One shouldn't trample upon other peoples' rights and desires while enjoying the same basic things in life themselves. After all, the whole human difference manifests only in a mere minuscule percentage of microscopic genes in chromosomes!

The Desi phenomenon is a silent but buoyant autonomous movement that grows by interactions, as newly found similarities of many kinds emerge, vast in scope, and magnitude, ignoring the trivialities, paucities, and other annoying aberrations. In essence, Desi is the common “home”' of the diaspora of Asian communities where Desi, Paradesi, and Diaspora communities amicably interact, work, and reside side by side with civilized recognizance, tolerance, and cooperation!

Paradesi means 'not belonging to this place'; not indigenous or not an original inhabitant of  'this place', community; in short 'coming from another place'. In its wider sense, it means a foreigner, immigrants without citizenship status, stateless, refugees, expatriates, 'Gast Arbeiter' (guest workers); people with temporary 'work permits'; those with 'student / H1 visas'; officials with international, Government, UN and NGO organizations, as well as persons with another 'exempt' status. Most have left behind not only their beloved homelands but also their loved ones. In the new lands, they face an uncertain future of residential status, prejudices, and even ignominious and disastrous deportation. Besides, language barriers, unknown customs, conventions, discriminatory laws, and complicated systems, unfamiliar work-flows at work places pose formidable struggles and problems in the crucial adjustment period. In the host countries of the Western world, an immigrant is often reminded "Hey, you got an accent!" reminding that he/she is an immigrant with perhaps some 'communication' issues, subtly declaring an air of earned superiority, ill-gotten/ enacted privileges, and righteousness of the 'original' class of settlers and homesteaders, all the while totally ignoring the status of the original inhabitants of the land, the hapless, ostracized native- the great indigenous tribes who protected and maintained the lands pristine and unspoiled.

The Gulf countries Emirates, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, and Bahrain serve as temporary homes and workplaces for Millions of expatriate desi workers. Eventually, they must go home. When that should happen, they hope to settle down in peace; instead, face another struggle for 're-integration 'in their own homelands, exacerbated by the hostilities and jealousies of neighbors; thoughtless actions and ordinances by governments, meddlesome bureaucrats as well as unscrupulous fraudsters. In this connection, it is worth watching the PBS TV program "Workers Cup" soccer tourney which shows the daily lives of some of the 1.6 million African and Asian migrant workers who toil hard to build the huge stadiums for the next FIFA World Cup but earn neither glory nor a chance to experience the live events. This POV (Point of View) documentary follows these workers as they participate in a football tournament organized by, and for themselves, without a single sponsor. It's quite ironic that the laborers are the largest consumers of Soda, and the Soda companies are the biggest sponsors of all major professional football tournaments!

Diaspora, or the 'scattering', though originally meant to describe the historic exodus of Jews from their ancestral land following their expulsion by the Babylonians, has now come to describe a closely-knit community or population from another country spread out in different parts of the world. The world is witnessing a burgeoning trend in a diaspora of other nationalities and races. This is caused not only by the industrial/Internet/Business revolutions but also by migration, political upheavals, religious persecutions, ethnic cleansing, wars, economic backwardness, rampant rate of inflation, consumerism, grossly disproportionate wealth distribution to the extreme fringes of poverty and stratospheric super affluence; sub-par subsistence level returns from traditional farming activities; depletion of arable land due to continuously exacerbating 'climate change', deterioration due to industrial pollution, toxic water contamination; mounting debt burden of farmers; mining& deforestation; construction of transportation infrastructure; 'eminent domain' laws ruthlessly imposed by governments with authoritarian arrogance. As a matter of fact, this has been a dynamic phenomenon throughout human history from very ancient times. It is believed that the human race started its earliest journey from the great continent of Africa, as deprivation, disease, and other calamities befell upon the inhabitants. They traveled on foot, carrying belongings on their heads and shoulders; swarm the rivers; passed hundreds of miles through hostile jungles, dry, and barren deserts;  over the treacherous hills. On their arduous journey, they are confronted by greedy smugglers, cruel gangsters, and unscrupulous human traffickers. When they reached a certain place, the land stretched further beyond. They searched, wandered, and explored; finally settling on the most inhabitable place they could find. In the epic migration, quite sadly, only a few could arrive at the hallowed 'promised land' losing many close relatives and compatriots on the way; grieving for them for the rest of their lives.

It was a cruel flight and a grim plight of humanity! To the greatest dismay and horror, the struggle for human survival continues unabated to date and certainly far beyond. The existential threat is caused by the rapid, ravaging, and extreme 'climate change' as the farmlands they cultivate cannot support lives at this galloping rate of inflation and mounting daily needs. Pandemics are another ominous calamities that occur frequently worldwide! Besides rampant inflation, drastic income disparity is another major cause of mass migration. Unnecessary wars and conflicts exacerbate the situation even further. Most national and local leaders are too focused on gentrification of slums to build skyline super-structures ignoring the basic needs of people living far down on the flat earth. The development industry leaders lobby against and sabotage any remedial measures organized by the populace.

Today, aspiring migrants from Central American countries carry only a small bundle of their most essential belongings on their heads, and children on their shoulders, while the infants peacefully rest on their mother's bosom, set out as caravans, on foot to distant destinations they only heard of in connection with great opulence, relative peace, wealth, and good life. Their sole intention is to escape abject poverty, the wrath of gang violence, discrimination, and lack of hope. They had underestimated the distance, the arduous journey ahead, the perils of the desert, the harshness of the climate, the limit of their strength and health, and human sufferings of thirst & hunger. In great determination born out of dire necessities, they disregard the fore-heralded unwelcome hostilities of sneers &  jeers, racial violence against them, the threats of 'caging' & incarceration under inhuman conditions, separation of infants from parents, and worse, the torture & deportation after all these horrible sufferings, and numerous other uncertainties that ominously lie ahead and yet to face. These are people in dire distress. Aren't they  'children of the same God'? What does separate the so-called 'pilgrims', the colonial settlers of yesteryears who were 'armed to the hilt' and the hapless asylum seekers of today?

This is in contrast to the armada of European colonialists who set out from across the ocean with arms and ammunition. They harbored sinister intentions of conquering and subjugating the unwitting and harmless indigenous people who lived peacefully on their own ancestral lands for many generations for thousands of years. Ultimately, the invaders became rulers, occupiers, and owners of the 'conquered ' countries for good. Quite shockingly, the existential necessities and beliefs of the natives are mercilessly ridiculed, sneered at, and systematically trampled upon. They were not even considered  'persons' and have been treated accordingly with numerous human rights violations and ill-treatment to this day. The large-scale atrocities committed against them, the decimation and desecration of their sacred ancestral lands is gravely hurtful, and indeed the most horrible 'crime against the entire humanity ' in the whole of history. It's quite hypocritical that the influential religions, pastors, and preachers who preach and interpret the holy  'Ten Commandments', proscribe evils and prescribe 'penance & repentance' to the believers for the redemption and atonement of sins, unabashedly ignoring their extensive patronage and explicit complicity in the brutal events in colonial invasions, persecutions, brutalities, and the forced religious conversions. It seems that the 'Word of the Lord ' is here conveniently supplanted by the political paradigm that "a rule or a law can make everything legal, and I'm the law; so shall be it forever, Aimen! ". How queer and morally repugnant it has become? The nations, instead of admitting the truth & facts, and starting a process of truth, reconciliation, and reparations, let the heavy burden of mortal sins and guilt weigh over them and their posterity for the entire course to eternity. They vow stubborn reticence and utter silence on these historical events; give out vehement denials when confronted, utilizing the overwhelming media and propaganda machinery to deflect growing public outrage, criticisms, and condemnations.

The 'Desi paradesi diaspora' is spread around all the continents and countries across the globe, although fewer to none in the South /Central American continent,  except for the retiring Americans. The contributions and sacrifices they make to their respective adopted as well as the home countries are substantial and invaluable, but gravely underappreciated. Sadly, it's a terrible fact!

This particular effort here is to participate in the trending 'Desi-paradesi-diaspora' phenomena and culture to promote ideas of “Humanities” which includes the branches of knowledge, such as philosophy, literature, and art, that are concerned with human thought and culture. The intended aim is to help the communities to enhance the quality of life, the size of the contribution they make, the good standing they stand to earn, the unity & self-reliance they can build, and to peacefully coexist with the rules & norms of the adopted countries. These are the essentials in seeking successful integration without relinquishing traditional values and principles of tolerance, a sense of responsibility & civic duties; serving humanity, as well as the earth & environment. The changes come through interactions between the populations and an 'all-inclusive community spirit'. It comes awfully slowly but will evolve surely and inevitably. It's a glowing foregone conclusion that it shall contribute to the causes of peace and well-being of all humankind, notwithstanding the deep differences in beliefs, caste, creed, culture, ethnicity, religion, and other prejudices, persuasions, or divisions that presently exist and spread rampantly everywhere.

The desi-paradesi-diaspora and immigrant communities are poised to make great contributions to the world by providing human/manpower resources and; at the same time curb the unbridled frenzy of industrialization, reckless environmental damage, and insatiable greed of the super-rich countries controlled by its wealthy elite classes. Eventually, they can lead the world to a path of moderation, cultural integration, peaceful coexistence, and more enjoyably, healthy living for all.

Wherever “East meets West; North meets South in any combinations or directions, there is desi, and paradesi”; when there are many such places scattered around the world, there is diaspora”!

This site earns its name Desi-paradesi-diaspora as it is tuned to the causes, and effects identified with this extensive, resourceful, and vast community of diverse masses of people representing all countries and parts of our world!

Nothing stays still in the universe; it's dynamic!

I’ve been working on some pieces of writing for quite a long time now and managed to arrive at a comfortable point to share them with others.  At first, they started out as some scribbled manuscripts of recollections of certain fond but fading memories of childhood, adulthood, and other life events, experiences, and encounters. More incidents and thoughts started to flow in; many incoherent, some obscure, others silly but funny and worth telling. Gradually and unwittingly, it developed into an intriguing hobby and pastime; told a few people about it. Those who heard the gist of it said: "as far as I heard, it's interesting; like to see it when finished!".  It dispelled some self-doubts; at the same time, boosted inner confidence.  Lo, and behold!  it soon evolved into a fascinating and passionate undertaking that I couldn’t stop thinking about.  Thoughts and ideas rushed into the mind with one triggering yet another in powerful synergistic chain reactions and streams. Now, I am put into a challenging predicament to find a suitable way to express them by connecting ancient and antiquated concepts & styles with understandable lingo in the present-day conversations.

The books you come across here are simply products of my earnest attempts at achieving this ambitious feat.  In the process, it revealed some amazing phenomena, faculties, and under-utilized capabilities of the mind, as well as the acute consciousness when tuned to the particular tasks at hand. They must all be therapeutic as well.

Serendipity!

Eventually transforming me into a self-publishing author!

There is some urgency to it all! I must finish them before the onset of the inevitable 'senectitude' and the time I must quietly depart. Undaunted by the looming threats, I did expend every sincere effort that they must all be worth reading with meaningful content, illuminating ideas, motivational motifs, authenticity, sensitivity, sensibility, and simplicity with good civic, ethical, and inspirational values and lessons for all the aspiring readers & visitors to the site from across the globe.

Book 1:      The Biggest Regatta

                        "Vallam Kali"

The book is about the biggest paddling regatta in the world, the traditional  "Vallam Kali" of Kerala.

The theme is based on the water festival of Kerala. The regatta of boat races is held annually just before the start of the upcoming cultivating season and at the fag end of the seasonal dreadful  Monsoon. Several preliminary/ trial and warm-up events take place on the serene Kuttanadan rivers and canals. They herald the joyous arrival of the folks festival season of "Onam". The Onam itself has its own mystical and mythical origin & customs. There are several rituals, each of which is zealously and meticulously followed by the people of the state, same as it originated many years ago.

The main event described in the book is the "Nehru Trophy" boat race, the 'mother of all Regattas' held on the beautiful Vembanadan backwaters at Alappuzha, where the water and the land harmoniously meet in a salubrious and picturesque setting. The venue offers the spectators several vantage points to watch from either side of the waterway for the entire length of the racecourse of about 1.30 Km.

Further, the book narrates the beauty of the land, long history, traditions, cultural nuances, community participation, pride, fervour, mood, rhythms of rustic lifestyle, attractions, as well as the compelling nature of competitive spirit always inherent in any race. It also offers suggestions for renewable energy production,  protection of natural & water resources, the Eco-system, as well as expedient measures for flood control and soil erosion.

The water festival has always enjoyed statewide participation in competitions and cultural events, transcending caste, creed, religion, and social status of many kinds. It is the most anticipated season in the village communities which are situated along the 'Vembanadu' and the 'Ashtamudi' lake basins as well as the ones on many of the river banks.

The regatta, locally known as the 'VallamKali' currently attracts tourists from all over India and many foreign countries as well. Some competitors make cameo appearances and others, enthusiastically participate in the training and races. All seem to enjoy the real good time with great gusto! It's a beautiful sight to behold and feel the joy, interactions, and camaraderie of many communities, people, and participants of diverse backgrounds.

It may arguably be the largest single sporting event of any kind, held at one time, and at one location!

The book describes several unique aspects as well- the unique flora, fauna, and fountains of natural beauty, the ecosystem, the people, their habits, age-old traditions, and rituals that are faithfully observed and enjoyed in competitive celebrations and events. The launching of the race boat with the musical performance with "Chenda Mela & Pancha Vadhyam " are described in in-depth musical appreciation and fascinating description of related events.

Race is authentically described in colourful commentaries, mealtime-composed poetry, images, and facts.  It is written from personal experience and intimate knowledge with the invaluable aid from quotes & stories told by elders, spiced with several anecdotal topics. An overview of the book is given in the "synopsis", which can be read free on the website.

It describes the theme and the contents, the drama, and suspense in the marquee race; the agony, and ecstasy caused by the nerve-racking emotions felt and endured by the zealous fans in a series of twists and turns, unique and suspenseful events preceding to the announcement of the final results!

The book is wide-ranging in scope with interesting facts about the sciences of boat building, rowing/paddling, and the mythical 'reclamation'  of the land of Kerala, the "God's own country" from the depths of the vast seas as believed by the local population.

A poignant and enduring love-story culminates in hastily arranged and joyful wedding ceremony of the lovers in eye-witness of the victorious regatta fans. It provides quite a fascinating and entertaining read indeed!

Book 2:  The First Concert

FIRST CONCERT cover-Web_edited_edited_ed

 Book Description

The First concert

Prologue

The story is about the first concert held in a newly opened futuristic Amphitheater on the occasion of its Grand opening.

The concert, with all the delectable musical pieces, is interspersed with several episodes of drama, mystery, surprises, suspense, 3D Laser light shows, Television & audiovisual effects. Several mysterious events pop up sporadically during the course of it and gradually evolve into rather significant parts of the story. The concert, unlike any others, provides the audience a fully 'immersed' (able to be an integral part of it) experience. They are entertained, pampered, and enamored to unprecedented levels of experiences, so much so, ultimately become active participants in the events.

The concert hall, itself is a “Xanadu” (a place of great marvels and contentment), 'par excellence' (a degree of excellence, beyond comparison) in terms of its architecture, physical beauty, artistic decorations; superb acoustics, 'beyond the state of the art' technical perfection and performance; appointed (abundantly supplied) with futuristic visual and listening features; light & television production techniques, bringing out the inner beauty by sharpening listener’s musical acumen and appreciation.

The visual and auditory circuits reside in our brains in proximity to each other. Cross-talk, mutual stimulation, and interactions occur naturally. The features designed into the auditorium tend to accentuate (intensify, emphasize) the effects to unprecedented levels to afford the listeners the utmost in listening pleasures.

In order to assist readers whose mother tongue is not English or who are not readily familiar with the inner workings of musical concert details with a facile reading, explanatory or qualifying remarks, and similar idiomatic phrases are placed in 'parentheses' next to the word itself. Meanings of difficult words are also given. There are a number of anecdotal events and explanations stated to elucidate certain critical points. They include relevant and useful information to make it worth the read and keep the book a source of good information with interesting insights.

Besides providing entertainment and a ‘novel-like’ drama, suspense, and mystery, the book strives to unravel certain hidden wonders of our environment & nature, the Biological sciences, technology, traditions, customs, attitudes, the plight and lifestyles of humanity that we witness in the world around us.

The book should benefit readers in very many ways!

Music video

This is a collection of accordion music of various parody music, music lyrics mentioned here, and in the books, "The First Concert", "Singing Simplified", and "Namasthe, let's Play the Accordion" etc.

Aspiring accordion players can notice the right hand playing on the keyboard and left-hand playing the accompanying chord buttons in sync, as well as the manipulation of the bellows. All three essential operations require a fair amount of coordination. These features help  to produce various sound effects such as dynamics, articulations, and ornamentation. Together with the selection of 'voice registers', it constitutes a pleasing 'ensemble' making the accordion a versatile piece of instrument. It  gets fascinating to see how the sounds come out each time.

One could watch several videos which demonstrate the schemes of  the scales, chord formations, rhythm articulation, fingering techniques, dynamics, and certain practice drills & exercises.

Accordion

Stay Tuned

This is a collection of music videos of internationally recognized popular accordion music. It ranges from dance, folk, pop; Indian film music to waltz, march, polka, tango, and other pleasing rhythms & genres. Selected Western & Indian classical tunes are also featured here. There are pieces of music of English, German, Italian, French, Latin, Russian, Hindi, and Malayalam themes and origin particularly interesting and nostalgic to the burgeoning 'Desi-paradesi- diaspora'. The music pieces mentioned in some books listed here on this site ('The First Concert';  'Singing Simplified'; 'Accordion Music Lessons' etc.) may be listened to, right here in this section. It is sincerely hoped that it may help to promote interest in accordion music in the subcontinent and among the diaspora at large.  It's much simpler to learn than Computer Science or playing cricket!

Besides, playing the music, a brief introduction of the theme, its context, and a discussion of what I call a 'musical appreciation" may be found here in this section. Elsewhere, somewhere, I have included a "Tribute to the accordion" as well as an anthology of "accordion jokes" in case anybody is interested!.  I was chagrined by some of my friends, who characterized the instrument as just a 'vertically hung harmonium'; or 'It's nothing to it, it's like typing'; and yet another person saying "Why do you struggle so much with it; why don't you just listen to somebody who can do it better?". Well, in the course of years, I feel that I matured with it enough, cultivated some measurable skills, and amassed a fair amount of stuff to show off.  I played, performed, recorded, and posted many pieces of music here as well as on YouTube in an ego trip! I truly hope those friends are listening and would be pleasantly surprised. They can find out for themselves what it was all about then and how a horribly harsh-sounding beginning could evolve into a joyful experience of a lifetime!

The music changes moods, helps to dream, muse, imagine, entertain, and be creative; gives joy and enjoyment to others. Importantly, it may improve neuron connections in brains, which is a great benefit in the waning and difficult years of life combating dementia and Alzheimer's.

Actually, this attempt of mine is born out of a passionate desire, rather than a display of skill. It was intended to preserve a tradition, talent, and gift passed on from my maternal side, from my grandfather, my mother, and taken to great heights by her multi-talented brother, my uncle. I find it a fitting and truly loving tribute to them as well as a great way to cherish and honour their legacy. In the process, perhaps I may inspire others. The trait may travel further downstream to generations to follow. It's truly a wonderful thought!

International tunes & genres  accordion music

P1000133.JPG

It is quite a rewarding and magnificent experience to dabble in international songs and genres. It is in many ways feeling like you are on a tour of the countries learning more about the different cultures, heritages, and histories since the songs they sing and the dances they perform speak for themselves and reflect the mindset, customs, and life. There are beauty, meaning, and significance in each of them. It promotes goodwill and understanding. The adage "music is the universal language" is truly well coined, stated, and articulated!

The ballroom dances display the ostentatious opulence & splendid grandeur of the royalties, oligarchs, celebrities, the rich & famous; the peasant dances show

the joys of the 'people of the land'; the folk's tunes tell the tales from their simple rustic lifestyles; the blues sing the plaintive tunes of despair and destitution of the times of slavery, bondage; the March heralds and trumpets the triumphant arrival or parades of the military; clarion calls, also of pomp & circumstances.

The operas musically dramatize the feudal systems, decadence, misogynistic culture, ill-treatment of the downtrodden classes of society; stories of kings, queens, count, and countesses; treason and treachery; deceit and infidelity.

We all are part of this world. The world is ours and not to be patronized for the glory of the very few "one percent". We can enjoy and benefit from what others

have made and left behind for us. Music is one such item. Nobody will dispute if you taste and enjoy some of it. It is with that pleasant motive in mind, I started writing some parody music and lyrics and making it available on a wider platform than my own small mind and space.

Quoting from an ancient Malayalam saying "If you share something it grows miraculously bigger". Perhaps this is how Jesus Christ fed Five Thousand people with just five loaves of bread!
